I took these pictures of Harriet right after she woke up on her birthday. It’s hard to believe we’ve had this sweet baby for a whole year!
For breakfast I made some really yummy birthday cake pancakes that had sprinkles in them. The girls loved them and so did I. They will definitely be a new tradition. Unfortunately, I didn’t take a picture of the girls with them.
Hattie really loves these little rides, so we took her on a couple of them and she was pretty thrilled.
I had considered making a birthday cake or cupcakes for Harriet, but we were celebrating her birthday in a few days with Brian’s family, and I would be making a cake for that, so I decided to make the birthday pancakes again for dinner that night, so we stuck a candle in them and sang to her.
A few days later, on Saturday, we celebrated her birthday with Brian’s family.
It’s a good thing Harriet didn’t seem to care, but Elna was so excited about opening the gifts, it may as well have been Elna’s birthday party.
The lawn mower from Grandma and Papa Harris was a huge hit!
Elna gave Harriet this little ducky, but Harriet had a hard time focusing on it with the excitement of the lawn mower.
These oreo pops were so, so good! (Did you know that Oreos are vegan? Maybe not healthy, but still vegan)
Loving the bandaid hanging off her chin and the bandaid on her knee. I’m pretty sure she had about 5 bandaids on that day.
Pizza and oreo pops make for a beautiful mess!
Oh, how grateful we are that this little girl is in our life!
I can't believe it has been a year! I love the oreo pops!
