3 months!

Elna turned 3 months a few weeks ago (8/30).  I took pictures, but never had time to blog about it because of a family vacation.  I have a lot of catch up to do…California/Yosemite, Utah/Harris family reunion, and just some really cute pictures.  But I have to start somewhere, so without further ado, here’s our little darling at 3 months old:

Happy, happy girl!

And some outtakes:

At 3 months, Elna:

-is as happy and sweet natured as ever.

-is not as good a sleeper as she was at 2 months.

-still likes to be rocked to sleep.

-spins circles over and over again in her sleep.  We wonder how much sleep she could possibly be getting with how active she is!

-loves playing with and eating her toes.

-can take her pacifier out and spends huge amounts of time trying patiently to get it back in her mouth—and sometimes it works!

-still loves being outside.

-coos, squeals, and even belly laughs on occasion.  Hilarious!

Oh, how we love her!

Elna Fae’s blessing.

On August 7th Elna was officially given her name and a blessing by Brian at church.  We were so grateful to have both of our parents there as well as all of Brian’s siblings and family.  Brian gave such a sweet and lovely blessing to our girl.

Here we are dressing our sweet baby:

A mini Harris reunion.

All of the Harris family was together last week because of E’s blessing.  It was so fun to see the people who came into town —Nate, Char and their cute kids, and Jared.

On Saturday morning we went to Elmer’s for breakfast with the family, which is where I started having contractions on the day E was born.

We had a great time with everyone in town!

10 weeks!

Our little E is 10 weeks old today.  That’s almost a 5th of a year old, and that just seems crazy, right?  In no time at all she’s going to be one year old and then 16, then 22, and I’m not ready for any of that!

Her gift to us on her 10 week birthday was sleeping 10 hours last night.  Yes, 10!

Here are some pictures I took of her this morning—we have so much fun together in the morning.  She’s her happiest little self when she wakes up after 8-10 hours of sleep.  Who wouldn’t be?!  She locks eyes with me and coos and coos and smiles so big the entire time.  But, whenever I get the camera out to try to capture it all, the smiles disappear.  She is far too interested in the camera to smile anymore.  So, these are as good as we get of her smiling…

I love this series of pictures of E with her daddy—this was right before Brian was leaving for work last Tuesday morning.

I love it when E falls asleep in my arms.  She’s a little cuddler!  Of course I’m on my computer—something I do far too often.  How have you cut back on screen time?
