Family Pictures 2016

In July—a few hours after our triathlon, we took family pictures up in the Columbia River gorge at Wahkeena Falls.  Blue Lily photography took the pictures.  I love how they turned out!

December Little Things

IMG_9400

The only picture I got of my mom’s visit at the end of November, beginning of December.  We loved having her here!  Look at that happy Georgia!

IMG_0026

I woke up to these cute people watching a movie and folding laundry.

IMG_9626

We loved filling up our Light the World tree with a star each day.  This day the girls gathered food from our pantry to take to Elna’s school for a food drive.

“Cheeeese” Georgia is obsessed with her oral hygiene.

IMG_9807

I really love this view!  I make bready every couple of weeks (then freeze the loaves to have all month) except during my first trimester…then I mostly just sit on the couch.  This was my first batch after being so sick with morning sickness—the girls had been begging me to make bread and I finally made it happen!

These smiles of hers don’t look very happy, but she is actually very happy when her face looks like this.  This is her “cheese” face.

Snow!

IMG_9651IMG_9656

We had some snow and a lot of ice during December.  Elna’s school was canceled for 2 days before Christmas break because of it.  She loved going out in it.  The picture on the right is what Harriet did while she was playing out in it, one afternoon at Brian’s parents house.

These girls love their Uncle Jared!

IMG_0053

Happy girls waiting at the dentist office.

What, me?

IMG_0341

She does this a lot—she loves for me to push her over into a summersault.

IMG_9684

I love when my girls are so sleepy they fall asleep in my arms.  It doesn’t happen very often.

IMG_0381

Playing at Wippersnappers—a fun play place—with friends.  We took this right before we left and Georgia was ready for a nap—she actually had a lot of fun!

IMG_9746

Georgia waking up Hattie after naptime.  Hattie doesn’t love to be woken up.  Who does?

IMG_9779

I heard something coming from my bedroom and hoped it wasn’t Georgia playing with my makeup.  I didn’t hurry in, because she was so happy for so long.  Finally, when I did, I found her on my bed playing with magnet wooden paper dolls.  I’m glad I didn’t go in earlier!

My favorite site!

IMG_9774

Another favorite site- ha!  This girl loves to be naked!  And she loves to read!

IMG_9810

More reading!

More reading!

IMG_9849

And even more reading!

Playdough and happy girls.

IMG_9828

A close up on those pigtails.  Love them!  And her!

IMG_9832

I was on the phone, so Elna came up to me with this note.  So polite not to interrupt!  “I want a snack”

IMG_9852

Pacifiers and blankies all day long for this girl.

IMG_9855

Elna went out to get the mail, and Harriet and I were watching from inside, when I heard a big sigh from Hattie, and a “I wish I was that tall…”

IMG_9894

Home Depot run with the family.

IMG_9902

This is Chilly, the snowman—lovingly made by Elna and Brian.  I’m so happy Brian likes doing these kinds of things so I don’t have to.

IMG_9904

Our house at night.  I love Christmas lights!

IMG_9910

The primary children sang to the adults during Sunday school.  They are so sweet and did a beautiful job!  I miss being in primary!  Bishop are you reading this?  Ha!

IMG_9908

A close up with Elna and Hattie—Hattie wasn’t officially in primary yet, but had been going in with other sunbeams her age for a couple of weeks to get her used to it.

This girl gets into my makeup as often as she possibly can.  I can’t hide it well enough.

Dad of the year!  We sure love him!
