Elna’s socks, everything about that Georgia—especially the green smoothie on her face, and Hattie’s high heels—these girls make me laugh!
Look at those fingers! They are still baby fingers! How is this baby of mine in kindergarten? She’s such a good reader!
Such a determined little tank!
Sometimes I take pictures of the baby cam on my phone—Brian’s rocking Georgia to sleep here at 4 a.m. Best dad!
The girls started ballet and they love it!
Such a blurry action shot, but such a happy picture!
Georgia wore these shoes (way too big on her) every day, all day long, for a phase.
If Adelia doesn’t die from starvation, she will die by Georgia’s hand.
Snack time.
I love when this girl is happy!
She so often puts her hands over her mouth—it’s so endearing to me for some reason.
Those shoes again!
Splish sploshing after a rain storm.
Harriet is a kick for so so many reasons—but this is near the top of the list right now. She refuses to sleep with blankets because she HATES making her bed. So, we often find her sleeping with a pillow over her. As it’s gotten even colder, I’ve had to force blankets on her—it’s been rough!
Using a towel instead of a blanket here. Heaven forbid she mess her covers up!
Visiting my cousin, Marilyn, at the Portland temple visitors center.
The only picture I took of my trip with Brian to Dallas for a business meeting. We had such a relaxing time, and were so grateful for Brian’s mom, who took took care of the girls while we were away. I took this picture of Elna waving as we were driving away, and off to the airport.
Our friend, Stacy, got married! Brian and Stacy have been friends since high school. Brian was on the wedding support team—a bride’s guy—so he got to wear cute suspenders and walk down the isle. Such a lovely wedding and celebration.
The picture on the left is such a Georgia move—Georgia sometimes gets a bad rap on this blog and on instagram—because she can be a little tough, but she is also so sweet—like really, the sweetest most gentle little girl. She loves to cuddle and hug and kiss and will often just throw herself onto one of our laps for a big hug—like in this picture above with Harriet. And the one below:
Lounging on the patio and eating veggie straws
On an unseasonably warm day we met friends at a splash pad. The last warm day in a long time.
Georgia loves slides! And she is so brave!
A couple of girls in aprons.
After church on the day of the primary program. I had just videotaped Elna singing her solo that I didn’t want to tape during Sacrament meeting. She did such a beautiful job—she sounded like an angel! She also gave a great talk on why our bodies are a temple. She is such a great performer! I haven’t figured out how to post videos here, but when I do, I will definitely post one of Elna singing “I’m trying to be like Jesus”—it’s heavenly!
