Multnomah Falls.

Brian was gone all last week on a high adventure for scouts (needless to say, I don’t’ have a very strong testimony of scouting—I hope that will change by the time I have a boy in scouting, but for now I’m just really not a huge fan of my husband taking off for a week without me!)  On one of the days he was gone, my sister-in-law, Heather, E, and I went on a hike up to the top of Multnomah Falls.  It’s a great hike—all up hill on the way, but all shaded, with an amazing view at the top.  We had a fun time together!

This is the last set of pictures that Kristy took—of E in her nursery.

The quilt she is on was made by my mom, her Grandma Elna.  It’s gorgeous!

I want to take some pictures of the nursery as a whole—when I do, I will post them—I love her nursery!  And I love her!

Bend, OR & 8 weeks!

This past weekend we drove to Bend, OR for a wedding of a family friend of the Harris’.  We had a nice drive there with Heather and DeWin in our car.  They were patient with our need to stop several times to either feed or change E.  On our way there we drove up to Mt. Hood.  It was beautiful!

On Saturday we went to a swimming hole at the Deschutes River—this is E’s first swimsuit picture—she’s not very happy in this picture, but she sure is cute!  We had a fun time wading in the very cold water (E did not).

When E was just 12 days old, a friend of ours—a fabulous photographer—took some beautiful pictures of our family and of E.  We LOVE them!  Thank you Kristy!
