August little things.

IMG_6326

Such a happy picture!  Brian is the best dad!

IMG_6341

A picnic in the garage.  I love how creative they are.  They squeezed out a ton of applesauce pouches into that tupperware, squeezed some oranges into it too, and added some bananas too I think.  Yum.  And their dolls in their cribs (the cradle and laundry basket)  Fun girls!

A bubble bath kind of day.  Even the doll got a soak.

Three sisters and three sisters—Barbara and her two sisters, Regina and Leora, and our three girls.

IMG_6548

The girls are obsessed with Angelina Ballerina and I love it.

I cut Hattie’s hair.

Popsicles

Reading together.  I love Georgia’s face here—looks like she just woke up, but I don’t remember.

IMG_6645

Saying bye to dad as he leaves for work.  They do this every morning.  I love that Hattie is too busy reading her book to even look up.

A busy day at Jameson square splash pad downtown.

Elna was trying on new clothes that we got her for school.

IMG_6665

She loves her daddy!  We have gotten used to doing most things with this girl in our arms.

IMG_6687

Brian is just trying to work.  I love how genuine each of the girls’ smiles are.

Real life.

IMG_7086

I took this picture right before Elna got up to give a talk in primary.  She is such a reverent little girl.

We turned on the sprinklers for the girls to play in, but Hattie wasn’t a fan—this was her solution.  Ha!

IMG_7296

15 month checkup with this girlie.  Brian was home for some reason, so it was just us.  Pretty nice!

This is about when Georgia decided to walk all of the time.

Oh, just filling up her lawnmower with oil wearing a leotard and heels.

Brian was helping her get a Cinderella glove on

Brian golfed all day with his partners, and then I joined him for lunch.  We went for frozen yogurt after—my fav!

Trillium Lake.

IMG_8684

Trillium Lake at Mt. Hood with these favorites of mine.  It’s always a treat when Brian takes a weekday off.  Elna swam the whole time, Harriet relaxed the whole time, and Georgia…yep, you guessed it—she cried the whole time.  Yay for making memories!

Honeysuckle

IMG_7267

The girls wanted a honeysuckle plant, so for FHE Monday night we bought one and planned to plant it that evening…but then we decided the best place to plant it would be on a lattice near our front door.  So, Brian built a lattice.

IMG_7279

When I showed this picture to Brian he asked me if it was worth being (a couple of minutes) late to church for?  Ha!  With all three girls smiling, I’m going to say yes.  But it was a hectic morning—getting three girls ready for church, without Brian’s help (he has morning meetings) isn’t my favorite.  An then Georgia—oh, Georgia!  Just when I think we are making strides with this girl, she decides to scream through most of church.  She’s stressing me out!  Just keeping it real on here…Also—I’m loving the lattice with the honeysuckle to the left in the picture!

The finished product!  I love it!
