This post was written by Brian. Sometimes he likes to embarrass surprise me by posting something without my knowing. This one was a little embarrassing because he chose photos I might not have used and used words like “seductive.” But really I can’t complain, because he’s just telling me he loves me in one of his many ways and I’ve never been loved better by anyone.

Brian likes to blog too.
Grandma dress photo shoot.
While we were home in Fairfield for Thanksgiving (post to come soon) I found this dress that I wore as a baby. My Grandma Clark made it for me. Elna wore it to church this past Sunday and looked pretty cute, so we took some pictures. Believe it or not, this is a small fraction of the pictures I took…
And a side-by-side comparison of me at about her age.

Brian’s Dream World
In Fairfield we sometimes discuss what is known as my dream world. Ann(Annie) brought up the idea of me starting my own blog. I could say what I want, when I want, and I’d probably contradict myself quite frequently. The thought was very exciting until I thought about possible political aspirations I have as well as business aspirations and decided I’d better keep online history to a minimum. But for the inaugural and final post of “Brian’s Dream World” I present you with…
Seductive Mother
And with that, I’ll bid my blogging days farewell. (I’m sure Lucy will put a password on this program for me doing this!)

Lately.
I forgot to post some pictures with my Halloween post. This first one is when we bought Elna her first pumpkin.
Elna with her pumpkin.
Playing with her aunt Heather.
Our 2nd anniversary was November 7. We went to our favorite Thai restaurant with Elna. Marrying Brian was the best decision I’ve made so far.
Brian got me these flowers for our anniversary. I love tulips.
Elna’s first experience with food. Oranges. Not sure that was the best first choice, but luckily she didn’t get a diaper rash.
And another attempt to eat solids. I’m trying a method I learned from my friend Andrea, Baby Led Weaning (which isn’t really weaning, but teaching them to eat solids) We’re still mostly nursing, but every once in a while I give her something finger sized to gnaw on. In a few more weeks I plan to be more committed.
Sitting underneath a warm pile of clean laundry.
One of Elna’s favorite things is gnawing on the ties of our hoodies. Sometimes she holds one (or two) in her mouth and sometimes she just sticks it there and lets her hands go. We get a kick out of it! She’s definitely teething—she has her 2 bottom teeth completely through. They’re pretty cute.

29 years (and a few weeks) ago…
Brian was born. I couldn’t be more grateful for his birth and his life and our marriage. I am one lucky girl to have found him. He is a good and kind person. He is always happy. He has the best smile. He works hard every day, then comes home and works more—and he never complains. He loves God, life and his family. He is one sweet daddy! Elna adores him! And so do I!
A few days before his birthday we went to Chevy’s for his free birthday meal. We love Chevy’s! Daren and Heather came with us. We had a great time!
Elna really wanted some of that icecream.
On his actual birthday we had great time celebrating Brian! It started early with a yummy breakfast.
Later Elna and I surprised him at work with lunch (Chipotle!).
For dinner we went to a Thai restaurant with Brian’s family—thank you DeWin & Barbara.
We ended the night at our house for ice cream cake and presents.
Happy Birthday Bri!

Happy Birthday Grandma Elna!
One of my favorite pictures of our two Elna’s that I forgot to post when Elna was brand new. Can you believe how small (relatively) she was?
Happy Birthday!
We love you!

Halloween 2011.
Our little lady was a bug for Halloween. The cutest little ladybug I’ve ever seen!
Grandma Fae & Elna Fae. We spent the evening carving/painting pumpkins at Brian’s parents house. We love having his family so close. Elna loves her Grandma!
Brian carved an “I love Lucy” pumpkin—he did a great job I think.
Elna’s pumpkin that I decorated for her with puffy paint and gold spray paint—the letter “e” for elna. I got the idea from this blog, but mine didn’t turn out quite as well.
Hopefully her love for books will stick.
