March little things.

IMG_1375

In March, sometime before we left for CA, Barbara had the girls over for a couple of hours to make Easter bunny cakes.  She is so fun!  And patient!

Another day—maybe a Sunday when we were over there, the girls dyed eggs.

We went to have lunch with Brian at his office, and Hattie had to use the restroom while we were there.  She ran across the hall, but somehow didn’t make it.  She peed all of her clothes and the bathroom floor.  I didn’t have spares (because she has been potty trained for a year…), but we had to drop off Elna at preschool right after this.  So, Brian did this.

Not a perfect solution, but it got us from his office (building right behind Elna) to the van.  Fortunately, Angie showed up for drop off right when we did, and was able to take Elna in, so that Hattie didn’t have to go into preschool in this getup.

I love it when my babies are big enough to sit up in a grocery cart.

On a date with Elna and Georgia, while Brian and Hattie are also on a date.

Princess dresses and bikes in the garage while I worked out this morning.  I love how Georgia is in the middle of it all, smiling.  She loves the chaos.  Eye of the storm.

When we blink hard at Georgia, she copies us back.  I have THE cutest video of her doing this, but I can’t figure out how to upload videos right now…

These girls are going to know how to make their own bread before they start kindergarten.

Saturday’s are the hardest part of tax season.  There’s no TGIF at our house, and Sunday’s are so busy for us (Brian has meetings) that there really isn’t even TGIS.  I’m wearing down just a little bit, but these girls sure make me smile.

So tired she fell asleep on the way home—that doesn’t happen very often anymore.  I love how she hung her giant bag up.

My friend, Joanna, held Georgia almost every Sunday during church.  This is during a stake conference and also about when she stopped sleeping in church.

Happy birthday Barbara!  I couldn’t ask for a better MIL.  She is so thoughtful, helpful, and generous!

Hattie’s getup kills me!  The pajama shorts over her pants, the backpack being used as a front baby carrier.  And of course the helmet!  And the smile!  The over-filled stroller behind her—my girls are such bag ladies with their strollers—they pile all of their favorite toys, knick knacks, books, trash in them and push them all around.  I kind of hate them, but now that they haven’t been doing it for a couple of months, I’m kind of missing that funny stage.

Soaking up Brian.

I think it’s hilarious when they push this big baby in their doll stroller.

This is how we do groceries and 3 girls.

Last day of preschool.

IMG_2062

Today was Elna’s last day of preschool.  She loved it!  Today they were supposed to dress up for a tea party, so she picked this dress and her cowboy boots, and cute Cody dressed up as Robin.  I’m pretty sure the highlight of Harriet’s day was every time she got to drop Elna off.  Can you tell?  So thrilled to be part of it all, even if it was only for drop off or pickup.  What I love about Elna, was how much she included Harriet—if she and Cody were holding hands running in, she always stopped and made sure Hattie was holding their hands too.  These little things that they do give me hope!

Like in this picture I took of them earlier this month.  So much love!

Let’s get a close up of how excited Hattie is in these pictures:

Georgia—10 months

IMG_2957

This little peach is 10 months old and I didn’t even realize it until 8 days later.  She is usually a very happy baby, but this month has been rough for her with 2 new teeth.  Ouch!  We’ve had lots of cuddle time, which makes it all worth it for me.  She learned to clap and claps all the time—when we clap, or when she hears an audience clap.  It is so fun for us all!  She also waves now and waves back at us if we wave to her.  She says “bye bye” as she waves.  She’s still not the worlds best sleeper, but I guess we just can’t have it all…because she’s pretty perfect otherwise.  We sure love our Georgia girl!
