I did one of these name prints for Elna, and loved it, so I decided to do one for Harriet too.
Harriet’s blessing dress.
Her namesake wall—starting top left and going clockwise: Harriet Olive Harris (the original Harriet), Harriet Joanne Harris,
Joanne Cowley Austin Linford, & Harriet Harris
The quilt Grandma Elna (my mom) made for Harriet.
The one failed attempt at getting a picture of the girls together—neither were having it.
On top of the quilt Grandma Elna made for her.
Family picture before heading to church.
The men in the circle—Allan Roberts, Chris Harris, Nathan Harris, DeWin Harris, Brian Harris, Tom Clark, Lance Astle, & Daren Harris
The whole group.
The Harris family (minus Jared—missed you, Jar!)
Clark family
And because I wasn’t thrilled with the way her pictures turned out Sunday, I took a few thousand more of her a few days later:
So in love with this big wide eyes! Wide eyes like her sweet great aunt Harriet.
She’s as sweet as she looks!
Love heaped up, pressed down and running all over these two sweet girls!
Harriet’s blessing was beautiful and powerful—a sweet experience for both me and Brian. I rarely see Brian get emotional, but for both of our girls blessings he has. Oh, how I hope she will honor the amazing women she was named after by living a life filled with faith, service, charity, humor, and righteousness. We are grateful to be Harriet’s parents!
