With family in town for Harriet’s blessing, we decided to have a birthday party/gathering for Harriet’s blessing on Saturday, June 1st. I didn’t take a single picture, but thanks to Stacy, Char, and my mom, I had more than enough to work with—thanks ladies!
Elna & Callie
Callie, Elna, & Jace
Heather & Callie
my parents—Elna & Tom
Brian’s brothers and sister-in-law: Nate, Chris, Heather, & Daren
My sister Annie, and her husband, Lance
Roasting marshmallows for smores—Justin with his twins, Mercedez & Sawyer, and Callie
Brian sweeping me off my feet, and Stacy capturing the moment.
The few nights before this party, Brian was busy fixing up a kitchen set we got from a lady in our ward—it was in pretty bad shape and had mickey mouse characters painted all over it—it still isn’t in awesome shape, but it’s a lot better now, and much prettier with a fresh coat of paint.
Grandma Fae didn’t even know we were giving her a kitchen set and got her this apron, oven mitts, and a chef hat for her birthday—perfect!
These two love to hug.
The night before the party we spent preparing food for the party—Annie was in charge of the cake—it was delicious!
This picture cracks me up—Elna’s face and Cedez peaking from behind.
Love her sweet hands in the picture on the left—happy birthday to our cute girlie!
These are some of the best pictures you have posted! So fun to see the family!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great way to celebrate! Happy birthday, Elna! Love the cake. It is so cute.
ReplyDeleteCan't believe she's two! That 2nd to last one with her clasping her hands in front of her birthday cake is priceless. I think I need to show that cake to Cindy - she's already planning out her birthday cake for October, and she loves sprinkles, so that might be just up her alley. Elna truly is a cutie - every time I see pictures of her I tell myself I need to do better at doing cute things with Cindy's hair - she is always such a ragamuffin. I love all the pics, especially the one of Brian sweeping you off your feet, and Elna with her kitchen (what a perfect present for her - it seems like she's always loved helping you in the kitchen), and best of all, the one of your new family of four with all the balloons in the back and Harriet looking like she's ready to dig in to that cake.
