February little things.

IMG_0516

Three bedheads.

IMG_0527

Such a random picture, but I caught these two playing together, and there was just something so cute about Georgia playing with her older sister that I loved.

Sometimes Georgia escapes after bath time.

The girls love cleaning all of the dough out of my mixer and dough hook.  I love love Georgia’s little smiling face peaking from behind Elna.

I wish these pictures weren’t so blurry of Gig—I love her smile on the left and how one foot is behind her and one in front of her in the picture on the right—a Georgia trademark.

First time sitting in a grocery cart was a hit!

I came in to their room in the morning to find them setting out their clothes for the day.

At the park with friends—Chase, William, Chad, and Elna.

Gosh, he’s cute!

Ha!

IMG_1058

One of my favorite parts of Christmas, still lingering into February.  I think I got them down before Valentines Day…

I love watching Georgia join the pack and start playing more with the older girls.

Georgia—9 months.

These pictures of Georgia are some of my very favorites of her.  She was just in such a great mood!

So the next string of pictures (there are a lot!) are so funny to me—she’s laughing in the first 6 because she is trying to take off her headband but I keep pulling her hand down, which made her laugh, and I would take a picture, and then she would try to take it off again, and laugh again when I tried to stop her, etc.  I was lucky enough to snap a picture for each of her cute little laughs.  In the last 4 pictures you can see that there’s no stopping her anymore, and she finally gets her headband off.

This little lady is 9 months old!  A little about Gigi at 9 months: for being severely sleep deprived, she is an extremely happy and content baby.  (Ha!  It’s funny writing about that about her at 9 months, knowing how she is now at a year old…not quite as content anymore—unless I am holding her).  She is a fabulous nurser and she loves real food (favorites are sweet potato, veggie burgers, oatmeal, bananas, broccoli, cauliflower)   She has been crawling for a couple of months and is now standing lots too.  She is a sweet little cuddler and falls asleep cuddling in my arms about every day.  She says “baba” and “mama”—she’s a mamas girl, and separation anxiety has been her thing for a few months.  She’s 20 lbs. 8 oz. (84%), 72.4 cm (82%).  She’s adored by all, and we feel lucky to have her as part of our family!

Elna’s artwork.

IMG_0059

Above is a picture of a bunch of art projects Elna brought home from preschool.  She loves loves loves crafts!

IMG_0062

The girls are all in pink, of course.  Brian is green.  And she spelled all of our names on her own.  Mama, Gerga, Elna, Daddy, Hattie.

IMG_0082

And I love you, Elna!!!

IMG_0424IMG_0417

Doing crafts is Elna’s love language.

And another Valentine project for their door.  (If they suddenly look older in the picture above, it’s because I took this picture in May, because I forgot to do it in February, and the crafts are still taped to their door.  At least until right after I took this picture.)

IMG_0464

More preschool crafts.  I especially love that umbrella!

IMG_0466

Hattie helped us get a few more pieces in the picture.

IMG_0958

And another batch of preschool crafts.

IMG_1057

I love everything about these charts Elna made.  She loves making charts, and this is my favorite.  It’s what’s she and Harriet are having for breakfast each day.  Smoothie, oatmeal, hot milk toast, bread and milk and honey, toast, and cereal, I think.

IMG_1157IMG_1156

I love my sister!  She could have picked anything, and she picked Hattie.  This just about makes my heart burst into a million pieces.  Look how pleased they each are.
