Brian took Tuesday off from work the week Char and the kids were in town. We were planning on going to Bullwinkle’s (a place that has bumper cars and little rides) with Brian’s parents, Chris, and Char’s family, but that morning Brian got a call to come over quickly to his parents house because Brian’s dad thought he had had a stroke and needed help getting out of bed and into the car. Unfortunately, his dad was right—he had had a stroke. So sad! He and Barbara spent the day at the hospital, and we ended up going to the zoo instead. The zoo was fun, but we missed DeWin and Barbara!

We loved watching Elna with her cousins. She loves them! Wish they lived closer!
I wish we lived closer to our cousins too! It's hard to be so far away.
