They do this a lot and both love it.
Ikea trip with Hattie. Elna was there too, but she went to the play area drop off, so Harriet and I ate an ice cream cone and didn’t tell Elna. Her poor forehead! The day before this she fell 3 times in one park visit and scraped her forehead, both knees, and both hands. It was a miserable experience. She was so so sad!
Costco trip. I love their carts—2 babes in it at once!
Different day, same dress for Harriet. It’s her favorite dress, and she wore it every day this particular week. I’m amazed it stayed clean enough to wear each day.
Shopping trip to Old Navy. Elna was twirling around, so of course I had to take a picture.
Same dress…another day. On the MAX train heading downtown Portland. Sometimes we just take the train for fun or to run an errand downtown because the girl love the train so much.
Same dress, and yes, another day. Obsession at it’s finest. The girls got to come to one of my OB appointments.
it’s amazing how occupied children can be with just a little water. Almost always worth it!
This was my idea of distraction. The girls were whining or fighting, and we were still about 10 minutes from home, so I told them they better hold their noses on their face, or they would fall off. And it worked! They held their noses on and giggled all the way home. Mom wins!
Elna sang with the primary on Mother’s Day. She was pretty sweet up there!
A candid of my girls on a walk. I should probably send it into the Friend magazine.
Elna is the most helpful sister! I love watching her want to help and serve our family!
Matching (home) pedicures and sandals! And the sun was shining!
Grandma’s are so fun! She is always more willing to encourage the girls involvement in baking and cooking than I am, so they obviously think she is just the best. And she really is! We are blessed to live so close to Brian’s parents!
Hattie LOVES her Papa! The moment we get to their house she always runs straight to Papa’s room and starts talking to him and eating his snacks.
Oh hey, there’s that dress again. And the cute girl who likes to wear it.
The picture above and below are about the funniest thing I’ve seen these girls do in a long time. Can you tell what Elna’s doing in her cradle? Yes, she’s baptizing her dolls. In the one above her other dolls are watching. In the one below, Hattie is also watching. She didn’t know I was watching or photographing her—she just did this all on her own. I died laughing when I saw it. In a similar vein, Elna said just the other day, “When I grow up I’m going to be a prophet!” Such a young little feminist she is! And we don’t even wear pants to church!
Elna being helpful again.
It was quiet for a long time, and when I found Hattie she was in this little funny spot reading all of her board books.
Look at what Brian did for me! He always manages to make my decorating dreams come true—love that about him! We moved Harriet in to Elna’s room a few months before Georgia was born, so we redecorated the room slightly to include Harriet. I love how these big photographs turned out and the frames that Brian made!
Grandma Fae had the girls for an afternoon and made these cute crafts with them. They were thrilled!
When Brian takes Elna to bathroom at the church, Hattie always asks to be strapped to the changing table. Funny girl!
A few pictures of Harriet holding her new favorite doll—Georgia. She asks to hold Georgia so many times a day. She’s not exactly as soft as we’
Oh what a full life you have with Brian and the girls! I really enjoyed each photo! Thanks for sharing!
