Yosemite—at the river.

These pictures may or may not be in order, but each day is very similar for us at Yosemite because this is where we play all day, every day— it’s what we love!

Elna spent so much time jumping from rocks into the river.  She loved having Grandma help her!

Elna is pretty water safe, and we were good about watching her, but she often looked like this (or worse, where just her head was above the water and the rest of her body was vertical beneath her head) and I’m pretty sure other people probably wondered why we weren’t jumping in to get her.  We didn’t because we knew she was safe and we were right there…taking pictures of course.  And she usually was wearing her ring, though most of the pictures don’t show that.

Hattie did pretty well without naps, but her emotions ran higher and higher as the week progressed and her exhaustion increased.

It was hard to say goodbye to the river this year.  The water seemed warmer than past years and our girls both loved swimming and Elna spent most of her time in the water.  We will miss it, until next year!
