Hattie is walking all the time now, but these were taken when she was still testing out her walking legs. Watching her learn how to walk has been absolutely thrilling!
I love those chunky legs and that cute smile! If I could only freeze this sweet girl in time and treasure this stage a little longer.
Swinging // picking raspberries.
That thing Hattie is doing in the picture above where she is sitting on the arm rest…she does that all the time, and it drives me nuts! She usually does it with her back facing the floor, so that if she fell, her head would hit the floor (or the fireplace in this case). I can’t even keep up with her she does it so much. If she’s sitting in a chair/couch she is sitting on the arm rest of it. One day this girl is going give me a heart attack!
Elna even insisted on wearing her tutu out to dinner.
And just to keep it real, Elna and Hattie cried all the way home from Veggie Grill and Voodoo Donuts. Why? They both wanted an (empty) gift card, but we only had one. Hattie mostly cried for the entire ride home and Elna just chimed in when she felt like it.
The next morning, Elna insisted on wearing the same outfit again.
I really, really love this picture! Pure joy!
Notice Elna’s panties over her diaper and shorts. She loves putting other people’s clothes on herself—especially Elna’s panties. Hopefully that means potty training will be a cinch!
Harriet is getting really into baby dolls and I love it. She loves holding them, cradling them, and kissing them. I think since she’s starting walking, she’s now able to carry the dolls around, so she is more involved with them, and they are her new favorite thing.
A little mariachi girl shaking her maracas (we made them a few months ago on Cinco De Mayo--from spoons and plastic Easter eggs)
Cutest mariachi girl I’ve ever seen!
Thank you for putting a big smile on my face this morning! The girls are just adorable! #funhouse
