Celebrating birthdays with some of my favorite people!
One morning during breakfast we saw this beautiful rainbow. I ran out with my camera and told the girls to join me. By the time they got out there, just a minute after me, it was gone.
Two things I love about these pictures: 1—the light in our dining room this evening. 2—my girls all playing so well together they didn’t notice me taking this picture.
We had parent teacher conference with Elna’s teacher. Barbara met us at the school to take care of the girls during our meeting. They girls loved playing with her at the park and we stayed for a bit afterward to play too.
Stroller walks with my girls are one of my favorite things.
I don’t remember the story behind this, but occasionally Elna will make our bed as an apology or to tell us she loves us. It’s always without us asking though. She is very driven and very sweet!
Dancing little girls! Georgia loves when the girls play with her like this.
The girls always ask to take a picture with the flag in our yard
She wants to be held at every moment.
I took these pictures to send to Annie. She gave these beautiful dress-ups to the girls—they obviously love them!
I love it when my girls act like they have no idea what I’m talking about when I ask about the makeup on their face.
I was at the end of my rope and stuck Georgia in her crib with a stack of board books. She was happy for at least 15 minutes. I need to remember this trick—I could use it at least once a day with her. Update: since writing this, I have tried a couple of times to do this, and it hasn’t been a hit. What would you do with an 18 month old who cries 90% of her waking time? Really? Any ideas?
Georgia started nursery! Best day! She loves it. Harriet and Georgia will only be together in nursery for a month before Hattie goes to Sunbeams. I loved looking in and seeing Harriet being so attentive to Georgia.
I love to see the photos of the girls interacting. As for Georgia, I know it's hard but she will grow out of this difficult stage. I'm sure you have talked to her Dr. Maybe google for ideas!
ReplyDeleteHave you had Georgia's ears checked? Debby was miserable at this age and it was always her ears. Tubes changed our lives.
