Elna loves doing hair.
I love these pictures I screen-shot of Elna getting Georgia out of the crib and rocking her—in the second picture you can see that she is trying to wrap her up in a quilt.
A birthday party for Tyler Holwege—Chad, Tyler, William, Clyde, Hayden, Lindsey, Elna, Harriet, and Chase
Best cuddler.
Someone was playing in my makeup.
Watching General Conference.
Dinner with Brian’s family after Priesthood.
Fashion show--while the guys were at the Priesthood session the girls went shopping and Grandma bought them a couple of darling matching outfits.
Elna teaching Hattie her best pose. Elna’s poses crack me up!
Sunday General Conference. // Hattie’s hand on Elna’s leg!
I love Conference weekend!
Delivering freshly baked bread during the songs.
Quiet time is the best thing for this girl of mine. Downtime is so good for her. An introvert, maybe?
Hattie’s 3 year-old checkup at the doctors office.
River day with friends.
How tall is Maggie? I love when I find my kids doing funny things.
Screenshot of Hattie holding Georgia in her crib. I love my helper!
She got into lip stuff again.
At a funhouse with friends.
Always climbing.
Trying to do a headstand for a good few minutes. (screenshot from our baby cam)
Bridal Veil Falls hike with the family—and then a picnic after at our favorite picnic spot.
Happy family selfie with everyone looking at the camera!
I think this was the Sunday after tax season was over—the girls were pretty thrilled to have their dad back!
Lilacs! They smelled divine!
A trip to the zoo.
My dad sends postcards EVERY WEEK to each of my girls and to Brian and me—6 cards in total! Amazing. Our girls love them and look forward to Monday mail! They especially love the stickers on the back of the postcard—he always puts great stickers on the back—so fun! These might have been their favorites though, because they were the fairies from Sleeping Beauty—Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather-- which happen to be their Halloween costumes, which he knew, so he sent each girl their corresponding fairy.
That leg! Always bending back when she kneels.
This girl is what parents dreams are made of. I don’t remember what she did to make us upset—something kind of sneaky the night before—and so the next morning, with no thought of reward, but just wanting to make us happy—she went outside, without even making a peep, and collected bags and bags full of pinecones (Brian, especially hates the pinecones that fall into our yard from the park). She is just the best best best!
One of Georgia’s very favorite things is riding on bikes with Elna. They go down the driveway—kind of fast, even—and she loves it!!
You can’t see the sprinkler here, but they are running underneath it.
Brian sent me this one night with this caption: “I kid you not this wasn’t staged. I think we need to unplug from our phones more…”
It’s so hard for this girl to stay awake during quiet time.
Camping out under umbrellas while we did yardwork.
Family yard work—the best kind of Saturday.
Saturday farmers market
Sound asleep.
I enjoyed each and every photo! What a truly special family. Glad I can share in it.
