April 15th is kind of a big deal around here. We have been looking forward to it since about January. We planned a fun scavenger hunt for Brian that started with him walking in from the garage and ended with finding us in the van. We very sneakily watched from the car as he pulled in and opened the garage door, and the girls were so excited about it all. So much fun energy!
When he pulled into the driveway we all got on the floor of the car so he wouldn’t see us. It was the best!
Georgia’s first time sitting in a big girl carseat—she loved it!
See what I mean by fun energy?
Brian took pictures of each step. (side note: the whole “take off your pants” part was not supposed to be sexy—didn’t even occur to me when I was typing it up. I just knew that the first place he goes when he comes home, is to change his clothes.)
He found the next clue is his closet, which led him to the bathroom mirror:
Which led him to the snack cupboard, where his favorite candy bar was:
Which led him to the couch cushion he usually sits on at night:
Which led him to the mailbox:
Which led him to the front door, where a box was:
Which led him to the key basket:
Which led him to US in the van:
Can you even imagine how much fun the girls had putting that whole hunt together? They were giddy!
Celebrate!
Then we ended the evening by taking him to dinner.
Such a fun day! So happy he’s done!
