I’m obviously struggling with whittling things down lately…but Elna’s first day of school certainly didn’t seem like the appropriate time to start.

She was so excited! When I woke up she already had her outfit on, her backpack packed, and she was ready to go.

That cute headband that she picked out with her outfit, got left home because it kept falling in her face and bugging her.

She’s so ready for this!

Don’t go!

Getting that big backpack on.

This was an attempt at making a “K” for Kindergarten.

She’ll grow into it. These pictures were so hard for her to stand still for, because all she wanted to do was leave!

Walking in to school with the crew.

Elna looks like she’s dying from embarrassment, but I honestly don’t think she is…though she might have been done with pictures and ready to go inside! I included both of these because of Hattie is looking so cute in the one on the right!

I took these as I was leaving.

She was only excited, and you think that would mean I could be only excited, but we will really miss her. On the way home, Harriet said in the saddest voice “We were just going to grab her and not let her go, but she was too fast. Now it’s only me and Georgia.” Sad, right? We all love our Elna girl!

The moment we waited for all day long (and still do, honestly…in November) This girl makes our world go round!
