About to start!  Elna is wrapped up in that towel because we did not dress appropriately for the weather.  It was a little chilly.

Cheering loudly!  I get so excited/emotional every time Brian runs or bikes by.  There’s just something about these races I love.  And I just feel so proud of Brian and all of his hard work training for these races!

4th of July.

On the 4th of July we went to a small town parade in Corbett, which is just a town away from us and still part of our ward.  I have wanted to go to this parade for the last few years, but for whatever reason we never did, and I’m so glad we decided to this year!  Our girls really loved everything about it!  The floats, the horses, the candy, and the friends!

We sat with some of our favorite families—here the girls are with Cody Holwege, one of Elna’s favorite friends.

This is what Hattie did any time a loud car drove by—there was a whole line of fancy loud mustangs that drove through as part of the parade, and her shoulders were up by her ears the whole time.

We bought some fireworks, but decided to wait to do them with Brian’s parents a few days later because they were out of town on the 4th.  The girls had a ton of fun!
