On the 4th of July we went to a small town parade in Corbett, which is just a town away from us and still part of our ward. I have wanted to go to this parade for the last few years, but for whatever reason we never did, and I’m so glad we decided to this year! Our girls really loved everything about it! The floats, the horses, the candy, and the friends!
We sat with some of our favorite families—here the girls are with Cody Holwege, one of Elna’s favorite friends.
1 month old little Georgia rockin her patriotic outfit.
Lots of waving.
This is what Hattie did any time a loud car drove by—there was a whole line of fancy loud mustangs that drove through as part of the parade, and her shoulders were up by her ears the whole time.
Petting a miniature pony.
Lots of candy.
All of the kids from our group.
Angie and Aaron Holwege and their kids.
Family picture in the most patriotic clothes we could scrounge up.
The cutest baby!
We bought some fireworks, but decided to wait to do them with Brian’s parents a few days later because they were out of town on the 4th. The girls had a ton of fun!
So fun! Love the matching dresses.
