Mornings and evenings at Wawona.

Every evening in Wawona my parents give fun prizes to the grandchildren.  They obviously love this tradition!  I love this picture with all of their new goggles on!

One of the evenings we did a talent show—each grandkid did a fun talent.

Elna gave a talk that she had recently done for primary.

Robert ran 10 laps around the house for his talent—we were all dying from the cuteness of it all, and every time he came around we cheered him on and laughed a little at how adorable his talent was.

Here we are chatting as Robert came around on one of his laps.

Elna and Hattie did So Long Farewell from the Sound of Music.  This is their favorite thing to practice—they love love love the Sound of Music and practice songs from it frequently.

Another prize night—beany babies chosen by my parents for each kid.  My kids love theirs!

I’m so glad my girls have great grandparents still alive to get to know and love.  My Grandma Jody is the best!

My dad brought these pink and white cookies—we each got a bag for our car trip to Yosemite and then we also had some during the evenings.  Yum!

These grass skirts and leis from my parents were adorable on the little girls!

Each night after the kids went to bed my grandparents told stories about their parents.  I love hearing stories of my great grandparents—I come from some amazing people!
