Elna picked all of these hydrangeas for me and proudly came in to show me. She left about 2 inches of stem at most on each, so it was a bit of a challenge to vase them all, so we put them in shallow bowls instead.
In the picture above she is holding one big hydrangea, and after I took the picture she said “I’m going to hold this one on my wedding day” And then after a pause: “I’m going to have 9 children, Mom.”
This hydrangea bush started out as a pretty small potted plant about 5 years ago. I dream of my home being surrounded by these some day. So beautiful!
I love how she is trying to fit them all in her stroller.
So many hydrangeas! We put them on almost every surface of our house—our house looked so beautiful!
I have never seen such gorgeous hydrangeas! I so wish I could grow them here.
