Driving solo with my 3 little ladies to Utah. 3 hours in (and halfway to Boise where we are staying the night) and the girls have been perfect—bless each one of them. I was so nervous for my sanity, but prayers are being answered and we are having fun and making memories. I hope this is the first of many girls trips with my babies.
Check out that great bedhead! After staying in Boise for the night, we headed the rest of the way to UT. We stopped in North Ogden to visit our good friends the Stevensons, then on to Sandy, UT to visit my aunt Diane and Uncle Ray. We stayed two nights with Ray and Diane and had the best time with them! I lived with Ray and Diane when I was pregnant with Clark, and I count them as some of my dearest blessings. I don’t think I could have done any of it without them.
At church with Ray and Diane. I loved catching up ward members I knew during the time I lived there.
My girls with their second cousins, Andrew and Rachel. Sunday evening Beth and her children and my cousin Ray and his wife came to visit.
Rachel and Georgia.
On Monday I drove down to Utah Valley where I stayed the rest of my time at my dear grandparents house. I spent most of Monday visiting my aunt Amy’s house—I had the best time catching up with Amy and her kids. She has the sweetest children—darling and just so sweet. Amy was a good support to have a very full house that day—Annie and her girls came over to visit and so did my cousin Laura, with her children.
Harriet and Diana—Diana is my cousin, Laura’s daughter, who is the same age as Hattie.
Hattie was EXHAUSTED by the end of the day, and fell asleep in Amy’s lap.
My grandparents are the most wonderful people I know! They were such gracious and loving hosts for our family—we stayed a week at their house and had the best time.
They read lots of stories.
Tuesday we spent the day at Annie’s, in Santaquin. We love her and her girls and had such a great day together! Elna loves her newest cousin, Marian!
Jody and Elna with their baby sisters, Marian and Georgia.
Sweet Marian!
Eloise (Laura’s oldest daughter), Hattie, Elna, and Jody snacking on apples. Laura and her kids, and my aunt Ann, came to visit while I was at Annie’s.
Elna and Joanne.
Three girls with their babies.
More reading with Grandma Jody.
We don’t see them as often as we’d like, so when we do, we take lots of pictures!
Without any schedule naps for this girl, she slept when she could.
What a brave girl you are Lucy. How fun to be free to go and visit family and friends. I love it!!
