Eating dinner out on the back patio.
So little!
At the Sandy River.
Elna wanted to take some pictures, and this one turned out.
Harriet adores Elna. She so often is looking up at her during pictures, and I love it. I hope that through all of the daily bickering, these two will always remember how much they love each other and be best friends.
Papa tickling Elna. I love the relationship our girls have with him!
I can’t even handle how fast Georgia has changed from this little tiny newborn. It kind of breaks my heart if I dwell on it.
I love how creative these girls are!
Swimming at the Greens. Sydney Holwege and Hattie are buddies! My girls LOVE the Holwege kids and talk about them all of the time.
At my 6 week postpartum checkup with one of my very favorite people—I just love June! The saddest thing about not being pregnant is not seeing her every week.
Trip to the zoo!
Elna and her sunglasses crack me up—she is very committed to them.
Brian took this picture of all three girls joining him in the restroom. Nice to be loved!
Documenting my nights with Miss Georgia – I love how she just sinks into me and knows me and loves and trusts me with everything. I’m (so) tired, but I wouldn’t trade these moments for anything. I can almost smell her as I look at this picture. And that roll on the back of her neck. It’s the only roll her body—she’s pretty skinny. Oh, I just love this little baby! There’s just nothing like a newborn baby, is there?
I took this at a stoplight because the girls were being so funny—talking on there “phones” to each other.
The many cute faces of Georgia.
The girls rode the ferris wheel together at the mall. So brave!
Blurry (or as Elna would say, “burly”), but my favorite!
A daddy daughter date to get donuts.
I took this picture because Elna was cracking me up. She was picking up every out-of-place makeup item and trying to find the right spot for it, matching the color and everything. She did this for a few minutes while I was looking for mascara or something.
Picking berries with Dad and Brian’s aunts.
Blurry, but so so cute of sweet Harriet. Lots of jewelry (even on her ankles) and mamas shoes.
These three are pretty similar, but I just don’t want to forget these little expressions of Georgia’s from her early days.
Her little smile in this one is just so sweet.
Old Navy balloons!
Barbara’s sisters, Regina and Leora, came for their summer visit and brought some fun gifts for the girls. They are all wearing their new outfits in this picture. Darling!
Brian made 174 cookies to take to share with family at Yosemite. They were so so yummy!
Brian took this picture while I was at Target one morning. Making cookies with his two little helpers. And all 3 girls slept in this particular morning—Hattie until past 9:00, which is approximately 3 hours past her normal wake time! It was a good day getting ready to leave for California!
Sister Summers is one of favorite people. Until recently she was our primary chorister—the best! Elna would call her “Mister Summers” and talked about her all the time. She has come over a few times to read to the girls and give us a few new books. She brings out her fun puppets and the girls are just enthralled with it all. We are so blessed to be neighbors!
