Thanksgiving 2013.

This year for Thanksgiving my cousin Debby, her husband Randy, and their 3 children came from Seattle.  We went there last year, stayed with them, and had dinner with another cousin of ours in the Seattle area.  It was so fun to have them here this year!  I really adore Debby and always feel like I want to be more put together and awesome after I’m around her for a little while.  She’s just really neat!  And her husband, Randy is great too!  Elna had a great time playing with their kids.  I just wish they lived a little closer!

We were so busy talking, we took almost no pictures of the kids, and no pictures of the adults.  Next year we’ll have to make a bigger effort!

We wanted to host it our house, but because our house is pretty small, Brian’s parents offered to have it their house.  We spent the morning making food to bring over.  We had a great dinner and a great time together!

Hattie started crawling Thanksgiving Day!  She was pretty cautious at first, but within days she took off and she hasn’t slowed down!

I originally made this turkey onesie for Elna in November 2011.  Here is a side-by-side of them each wearing it.  Harriet, left.  Elna, right.  This is the first time I have ever thought they look alike—if you cover Elna’s hair, it’s easier to tell that they have very similar faces.  Man, we have cute girls!
