Harriet—4 months old!

I took these pictures on July 19th, when Harriet was 4 months old, but I am only now getting to post them:

Harriet’s hands are constantly in her mouth—she loves sucking on her two fingers.

And a few pictures of the girls together—we are definitely going through a rough smile stage with Elna—it’s a rare photo that I get her to smile naturally. 

I love that Elna loves Hattie so much!

Another girl has stolen his heart!

At 4 months, Harriet:

--is still as sweet natured as can be!  Thank goodness!

--has been rolling over onto her back for a while now.  It’s a frustrating stage because she can’t sleep on her back, so it requires us to go in and put her back on her stomach.  I’m ready for her to be able to roll both ways.  Often though, she will roll onto her back and just talk and laugh and do happy squeals and I love that! 

--can sooth herself to sleep!  I put her down awake and she falls asleep!  Yay!

--is sleeping better through the night.  I feed her right before I go to bed (at around 10 or 11) and then one more time during the night.

--isn’t a huge fan of being in her car seat—makes for a painful 14 hour road trip.

--is as cute as can be!  She has the best smile! 

We are so in love!
