Pumpkins & Halloween 2012.

We tried several times to get pumpkins at a pumpkin patch, but we striked out each time—first because of a rain storm, next because when we got there we found out it closes at 5:00 and we were too late.  After those failed attempts, we decided to just go to the grocery store.

Elna kept trying to eat the pumpkins.

The next few family pictures are a little blurry because of whatever setting the camera was on, but I included a few anyway because Elna is so stinkin cute in all the pictures:

For Halloween I made Elna a peacock costume—sometimes she loved it and sometimes she didn’t, but she always looked very cute in it:

We went to two ward parties—our ward’s on Friday night and Brian’s parent’s ward on Saturday.  When she saw Grandma Fae at the church building she started running towards her.  I love this picture:

On Halloween night, some friends came over for soup and trick-or-treating, and after we put the kids to bed we taught them Rook.  We only went to about 4 houses—all people we knew.  Elna had a great time and got a total of 6 pieces of candy…which we ate after she went to bed.  It was a fun night!
