My triathlete.

Last Saturday Brian competed in the Blue Lake triathlon.  It was a little stressful in the beginning because we were running late and Brian was a bit more tense than I have ever seen him.  Let’s just say that it didn’t motivate me very much to want to do one myself.  But, by the end I was all excited to start training for one myself.

Here is Brian’s race from start to finish:

Elna doesn’t look too thrilled to be there—it was a bit cold and long for her.  Brian getting into his wetsuit as fast as he could (since we were running a little late)

About to start his triathlon with the swim portion.  He’s a very good swimmer!

Our good friend, Stacy, was also competing.

He did it!  An exhausted Brian on the left just seconds after finishing.  Yay Bri!

  1. That is a great feat. I don't really see one in my future. I sure admire those who can do them!

  3. Congrats to Brian! That's a lot of work and a big time committment. My Bryan did the Blue Lake Tri the first year that we were here. It's a good one. He would like to do it again next year so if Brian ever needs someone to bike with, let us know! I would be happy to watch Elna if you and Brian (and Bryan) all do it next year!
