A few days after Brian leaned these boards against our house after cutting them for our garden boxes, we noticed this nest. In only 2 days they had built it—they were very busy. I think it’s beautiful.
The picture on the right isn’t great, but it’s one of the birds with it’s beak filled with twigs and stuff to add to the nest. We felt awful that he had to move it after so much effort was put into it.
Brian took these funny pictures of Elna enjoying some raw broccoli.
The one on the left is so funny to me. Love that there is broccoli in her hair and that her hair is just all over the place.
It's hard to believe her hair used to stick out so much. It looks so soft and tame now. Well, except for that part where it's trying to eat broccoli too.
