Yosemite 2011.

My family goes to Yosemite every summer and we have been since I was Elna’s age, so taking Elna to Yosemite this year was pretty neat for me.  I hope that Yosemite will be a summer tradition in her life like it was in mine.  This year was also special because it was my brother Joseph’s first time back in about 16 years.  I’m so glad he and his family were able to come.  My entire immediate family was there except for Annie who is still in England on her mission.  We missed her!

Get ready for a ton of pictures…

  2. It is so fun to see all of you together. I think the beards are funny. Were they trying to be true mountain men. Elna is beautiful. So happy for you.

  5. I love all the pictures with you holding Elna, facing out. Babies spend so much time like that- they just get to soak in everything from the comfort of mom's arms. You are a natural :)

  6. I love this post! I can't read about Yosemite or see pictures without getting emotional about it and wanting to go back and live there the rest of my life. I just have so many good memories from there. We need to go back together some day and re-create some of the pictures from when we were little! I love all the ones of you holding Elna (your hat is so cute.)
