Georgia Greer

I tried to get some 1 year old shots of Georgia—of the hundred (really!) I took, these are the only ones she smiled in—we are really hoping this is just a phase, because man oh man, she has tested our patience.  But not our love—I couldn’t love this little girl more—she’s very cuddly and loves to be held.  It’s wonderful to be needed and loved!

When I was about to give up on getting good smiles from this girl, Brian held her and she beamed right up—she LOVES her daddy!

My love for this girl runs deep.

We have a FIVE year old!

Five years ago, also on a Memorial Day, this little girl came into our lives.  She has been a dream in every way!  Kind, smart, helpful, hard working, brave, sweet, and sparkly, and good!  And FIVE!  Happy birthday Elna Fae!

It was hard to pick only 9 our of the million I’ve taken in the last five years, but these are some of my favorites.  We sure love this girlie!

Grandma, Grandpa, and Chris joined us for breakfast.

I seriously tried to whittle the number of these pictures of Elna down…but man, she just is too cute to whittle:

After lunch we went to Frenzi:

Then we walked to a nearby park to play.

We ended the day by eating crab (her choice) for dinner at Red Lobster.

A busy full day for this wonderful girl of ours!

Georgia is one!

We have been a family of five for a whole year!  Happy birthday to our sweet Georgia!  She was so happy on her birthday!

Look at how happy that ONE year old is!

She had a couple of happy helpers to blow out the candles.
