1 month old! Georgia had a hard first few weeks and was pretty sad a lot, but we learned at her 1 week appointment that she hadn’t gained any weight, so I started feeding her more often and suddenly she became a very happy baby. We all are entirely smitten with her. The girls both love to hold her and coo at her, and they haven’t grown sick of her at all. She hates diaper changes! She loves showers. We put her on her tummy way sooner than we did our other girls, and she really seems to enjoy tummy sleeping. She is absolutely sweet and perfect and we are all so very much in love!

Sweet Georgia!
3 days old.
So much devotion right here!
Real life right here—she wet through a few week stage where she wasn’t very content if she was awake – 1 week old.
It’s hard to believe that just 2 months ago she was still in the phase where we had to cover her hands or she would scratch herself.
18 days old.
A month old.

Soccer camp.
A Lutheran church in our area ran a free soccer camp for a week in June, so we signed up Elna. She didn’t seem to be a huge fan of it, but she never complained and went every day.
This picture pretty much sums up how Elna felt about soccer camp.
Her best buddy, Cody Holwege was in her group, which helped Elna a little, I think. She enjoyed snack time!
Poor Harriet wasn’t feeling very well one of the days, and slept almost the entire time. We actually didn’t realize she was sick at the time, but later that day she had a high fever. Poor baby!
Miss Georgia slept a lot too, because she was only 3 weeks old.
A very casual picture day photo.
We might have to put her in ballet instead. She dances all around the house. The only dance moves she’s ever seen are from reading Angelina Ballerina books, but she’s really picked up on some nice moves from Angelina and has begged to take ballet lessons. Maybe this fall!

Father’s Day and family pictures.
This picture represents Brian so well…he just rolls with the punches, even when things are kind of crazy.
Sad girls are sometimes/often our reality.
Brian makes our world go round. Life wouldn’t be nearly as sweet without him! These girls are lucky to have him!
While we had my mom here to take pictures, we thought we’d take some family photos before heading to church. I like the tradition we have started of having a family picture in front of our home with each new baby.
This one of Hattie makes me laugh. This is SO her right now!

Grandma Elna visit.
Brian went to Dallas for a work conference in June, so my mom decided to make her trip to come meet Georgia during that time! Thank goodness for her help! I’m kind of a mess after I have a baby, and it would have been tricky for me to have all three girls by myself for 4 days while Brian was away. Having my mom here was such a blessing! She helped with the girls, helped potty train Hattie, let me sleep in the morning, made food, and did my mending! Thank you, Mom!
Oh, just sitting in boxes while they read with Angelina books.
Doing reading lessons with Grandma.
All three girls with their Grandma Elna! They sure love her! A few weeks after she left, Elna said to me, “When we get a new house, I want to live near Grandma Elna.” I think she misses her!
Thanks for coming, Mom! I couldn’t have done it without you!

Backyard pool time.
We filled up the pool at the beginning of June and the girls loved splashing around in it as it was being filled up.
Brian took this picture of the girls licking each of the kernels of popcorn that hadn’t popped, that were covered in coconut oil, honey, and salt.
While the girls were playing in the pool, Georgia and I watched. Brian took a bunch of pictures of sweet Georgia and me when she was only 12 days old. She was so little!
Same swimsuit, two very different girls. One is a little fish, and the other…isn’t.
I think this small little pool felt a lot safer to Harriet, because she spent a lot of her time in it at the beginning of the summer.
I took these pictures of Georgia one day while the girls were swimming. I pictured them turning out a lot better than they actually did. But they were a fun idea.
She didn’t see my vision either I don’t think.
