Our little girl is 2 months old (this past Saturday) and she is 9 weeks old today—and I can hardly believe it! These past few months have flown by for me, but at the same time I can’t imagine a life with out Little E. I waited to post her 2 month photo until we went to her 2 month checkup. We did that this morning and she is doing so well! Yay E! It was pretty heart breaking though to watch her get her shots—poor baby! She cried and cried, turned the deepest red, and then fell asleep and is still sleeping 3 hours later. Bless her little heart!
At 2 months, E is 14 lbs. 4 oz. (99%) and 25 in. long (99%). What can I say? She’s a good eater! She is a happy, happy baby (as long as I don’t eat chocolate!) Her hair has gotten even more crazy—it no longer does a natural mohawk, but sticks straight up all over her head. She still loves being outside, the sun, and a breeze. She coos and squeals and smiles all the time. When she doesn’t want to eat or take her pacifier she makes this gagging sound—it’s hilarious! She’s no longer a big fan of tummy time. I need to be better about making her do it anyway—it’s hard being a mean parent! She loves her parents! Sometimes when we’re ready for her to wake up from a long nap, we go in and stare at her cute little self sleeping. Speaking of sleeping—she’s doing more of it! She is starting to do 8 hour stretches at night. Yay E! She loves when I sing to her, and will almost always start smiling really big when I sing “I want to be a friend of yours.” I have never been happier!
Is there a word for this kind of love?
