7 weeks!

I can’t believe that only 49 days ago I gave birth to this little dream girl!  She is just the sweetest and most beautiful baby ever!

On her beautiful quilt made by my aunt Diane.  Isn’t it cute?  She is quite the quilter!  Thanks Diane!

Practicing her standing with Daddy.  Brian’s sure that she’ll start standing any day now…I hate to disappoint him, but, the chances are slim.

Happy girl!

E is a very happy girl.  She smiles for us all the time—and we love it!

Could she be any cuter?  I don’t think so!

Grandpa & E at girls camp

I was asked to speak at girls camp last Friday (for 45 mins!…can I say eek?).  Little E came up with me and Grandpa DeWin (and later Grandma Fae) held her while I spoke.  I love this picture of E with her grandpa.

Saturday we went to a wedding reception of some good friends of ours, Andrea and Scott.  It was one of the most beautiful receptions I have ever been to or seen and Andrea was absolutely gorgeous!

Summer!

Summer has finally arrived here in Troutdale!  We’ve been loving the warm weather and spending a lot more time outside.  We recently got a jogging stroller on craigslist.com for a great deal.  We have been enjoying lot’s of a walks and a little jogging.

Happy 4th!

I love the 4th!  Family, fun, fireworks, yummy food, and a reminder of how grateful I am for the freedoms we have, especially the freedom to live the gospel.  We had a relaxing day.  We started the day by celebrating with the stake at a pancake breakfast.  Then Brian played tennis with friends, while E and I watched.  We left E for an hour or so (our first time leaving her—a bit heart wrenching) to go do a little clothes shopping for me—thank you Brian!  We spent the rest of the day at Brian’s parents house, enjoying family.  Once it got dark we went to see fireworks in a friend’s backyard.  It was such a great view of many many firework shows.  Beautiful!  E didn’t wake up at all through the whole thing.  It was a great day!

Sitting in the nursery rocking chair—6.30.11

Little E is 11 lb. 12 oz.!  She is such a happy little girl.  She is smiling more and more every day.  She loves being outside more than almost anything.  She loves to go on walks.  She loves to eat.  She loves her mama and daddy.  She loves light—the sun and her chandelier and other lights around the house.  She started rolling from her stomach to her back just a few days ago and has done it many times since.  Wow!  We are head over heals for our little girl!
