While Brian was home after Harriet’s birth he was so great about being Elna’s little best friend—they went on lots of errands together and Elna loved when they went to the pool together. She was very brave and loved jumping into the pool.
Our first walk together.
We went in for cleanings at DeWin’s office while he was in Hawaii. The hygienist gave Elna her first cleaning. She was very tricky about how she went about getting it done-- even I didn’t know she had done a full cleaning by the time it was over. I just thought they were playing and getting Elna used to the idea of getting her teeth clean. Elna did a great job!
Two different visits to the carwash—one of Elna’s favorite things!
On the Saturday before Easter we went on a hike to Ponytail Falls. Our sis-in-law, Heather came too! Great little hike!
Hattie’s first Sunday at church—Easter Sunday. Beautiful little girl!
I find that I take way too many pictures of Harriet on my lap. My phone makes it so easy to just take quick shots when I think she’s being cute—you’ll see a lot more of these.
So hoping these two will be good friends.
Jared came into town a few times in March and April—he is such a great uncle!
Elna loves Jared!
Sleepy smiles.
I don’t think Brian knew I was taking this picture—I took it through the window while I was feeding Harriet on the couch. It reminds me of one day when Elna was an infant and Brian had her for a few hours while I was gone somewhere—he went to his parents to get a wheelbarrow, and maybe because it didn’t fit in his car, he decided to walk it home (1.5 miles). He put Elna, who was in her carseat, in the wheelbarrow and walked it all the way home. I laugh to think about the cars driving by him and how they must have laughed.
Elna is going to hate these pictures when she’s 16.
Eating popcorn.
Swoon.
Skyping with Annie and feeding her baby--she does it all the time now and it cracks us up. Funny girl!
Second week at church—wearing a cute bow from my friend Andrea. Thanks!
With Elna’s neighbor friend, Sara.
Her smile!! So in love!
Sleeping girls—I love my smiling happy girls, but man, do I love them when they’re sleeping too!
Happy, cute faces of Hattie. She is such a pleasant, easy baby!
Elna really loves her bags—she has about 5 different bags she switches out all day long and she loves filling them with fun prizes.
Elna thinks this ladder is great—it makes me a little nervous.
That hand under her chin kills me—all in her sleep. Swooning!
We went to the Sandy River, just minutes from our house, to play with friends on a Friday afternoon/evening. Elna had a blast! She is always talking about the “beach" now.
